                   A Trip to Vagamon

We, the 3rd batch students of BDS, were searching some destinations in and around Muvattupuzha to celebrate our 6th anniversary of college life. After a long discussion among us we decided Vagamon. It was very nice trip with all classmates after a long period.

Vagamon is a hill station located in Kottayam–Idukki border of Kerala, India. It has a warm and friendly area with cool climate as its temperature will be between 10 and 23 degree Celsius during a summer midday. It is situated 1,100 meters above sea level. It is surrounded by tea gardens, Beautiful meadows, deep valleys and dales and pine forests.
We started the trip at 8 am in a bus and reached there by 11am.
We were planning to go by 6 or 6:30 am early morning, but some of my classmates got late. Thus our time schedule got changed totally and there were no enough time to roam around.

First we went to suicide point, walked nearly one kilometer from the main road to reach there. It was a breathtaking view and the only problem was the presence of leeches. Everybody was afraid of leeches.
We all got tired but the cool breeze of Vagaman compensated our tiredness.
After having buffet lunch from resort we went to the pine forest. It was thrilling to walk through the pine forest. Some of my classmates purchased some shawls from there….

Overall it was a treat for our eyes...
